Hey! Most people who know me know that I’ve quit many jobs to pursue missionary work in various countries with different vulnerable populations. Financial obligations always lead me back to temporary jobs until God calls me again for the next adventure. Well recently I realized, my life just IS the adventure now. I am headed to Uganda in December to see the childrens home my husband and I have built alongside our two Ugandan ministry partners. We are bringing back our son, who is not officially adopted yet, for medical treatment. I am leaving my jobs to take care of my son full time, finish the adoption process, and devote myself full time as a mother and teacher to him, as well as caring for him in his medical treatment.
I will be a full time mother and missionary, working full time to raise funds for our childrens home. In exploring ways to make an income from home, I planned for years to use my gifts to do things I am passionate about, rather than running myself into the ground in the ratrace, still coming home to an empty fridge, an exhausted husband getting home at midnight, and an empty bank account. Creating things, writing on this blog, photography and video, storytelling, lifting people up- these are my passions. Something I particularly enjoy is promoting items that I love, to share with others, to make their lives brighter and easier. These are my passions. One of my passions is actually hair, and helping all women feel beautiful, inside first, then outside. : )
I enjoy celebrating and finding the natural, God given beauty within every person. We each have internal and external beauty and I am very passionate about sharing simple, modest, efficient hair accessories and advice, to help reflect your internal beauty, on the outside.
Hair is very powerful, and I want to help every woman find humble confidence, and effective solutions so they can go out into the world and make a positive and lasting difference. : )
I found this great company and decided to promote them here, as one of my income streams so I can continue to work with vulnerable children, as this is what God has laid on my heart. Have a look around at what Lilla Rose has to offer, I love the romance and beauty of their products, and want to share them with anyone interested. Their style is just so classic and minimal to me, I really love that, but I also love how it could work in a unique way for each individual.
Thank you for supporting a missionary family, currently in the adoption process and building a childrens home in Uganda. Your purchases touch many lives and are greatly appreciated. Have a very blessed day! : )
